Madhura Lotlikar

Operations Officer
McGill

Madhura, a molecular biologist delving into human research, is a Ph.D. student in the Integrated Program in Neuroscience. In Dr. Marc Roig's lab, she explores the impact of sleep deprivation on memory and investigates whether exercise can mitigate these effects. She puts the people in the MRI scanner to check the brain changes in the sleep-deprived participants. Outside the lab, Madhura enjoys translating scientific discoveries to society through scientific communication and finding the intersection between sleep research and policy. She finds comfort in wandering through cafes, capturing moments through photography and eating ramen!
